View of the building as you approach the facility. There is a large parking area in the front and access to the range is through the building.

Main Entrance

The range facilities include an all weather indoor range and an outside firing line with 16 positions. The indoor range, pictured at the right, is for .22 caliber rim fire rifle and pistol shooting. This is primarily used in inclement weather and the winter months. Also held indoors are the Hunter Safety classes and the 4-H Shooting Sports Program, for both firearms and bow hunting Education. The monthly club meetings are also at the indoor range.

Indoors

The outside facilities are 4 positions for shooting off benches, 8 positions for 22 rim fire silhouette shooting and 4 positions for general shooting. When shooting outdoors you have your choice of paper target at ranges of 25 to 300 yards, a one hundred yard gong and a 400 hundred yard gong.

During the summer months .22 rim fire silhouette shooting is held every wednesday evening starting at 7:00pm. When the light is inadequate and winter is upon us the shooting moves indoors to the lighted and heated facility. Other shooters are invited to join us during these times. It will be noted that only .22 caliber guns are allowed indoors.

Outdoors

There are future plans for including a trap and skeet area and a large caliber 1000 yard target range.

The club has recently installed indoor automatic target turning equipment. In January and February of 2007 the club held NRA pistol matches. The Billings club was kind to give us their old outdoor target turners and we plan on installing the equipment in the near future so the club can sponsor out door tournaments through the summer months as well.
